Well, it’s about history… I haven’t thought about VBC ( Virtual Business Center ) since 2001 , the year i have abandoned the project ( just once in an article ). Why remember in 2007 this ? Because yesterday i received a phone call from Bulgaria, a Romanian fellow asking me to intermediate some business with industrial pipes for him. The first client for this web product came for me after … 9 years 🙂
The “VBC” brand was positioned in 1999 like a business portal offering new opportunities in Romanian market, finding business partners and creating Business Angel companies. I quote “our specialists will help you enter in a market you don’t have much information on it” … oh what times … i should seek for the promo flyer ( it was a woman with the face split in two, one half normal, and the other side changed somehow to say something like : we are different ! ) , and of course all of our specialists were myself 🙂
16 december 2001 : how VBC looked like and it’s a pity i have no more the flash products of the local fairs . The services were about 2 USD / month and i had the idea with e-commerce since then, now i realized ! But 22 years (me) and a phenomenon sci-fi like Internet was back in 1999 , lead to a major insuccess.
All the dreams i had regarding Virtual Business Center ( the domain i used is available 🙂 ) were put into practice in 2003 when Club Afaceri was born.
A lot of things happened since then ! Maybe it is time to get back to my ideas in a business website…
