Vlad Stan‘s leaving Vodanet (General Manager) is a hot topic these days. A decision that storms controversy. The shares in Vodanet are 40% Vlad Stan and 60% NCH (Broadhurst). The propriety : Acasa.ro, Ele.ro, SmartBuy.ro, Bloombiz.ro.
Two weeks ago, another manager from a company held by NCH (iMedia) Rachad el Jisr, decided to leave the company. The shares in iMedia were Rachad 50% and 50% NCH (Broadhurst). The propriety : Eva.ro, Cinemagia.ro, Bumerang.ro, BizCity.ro, Automarket.ro.
There are more than three venture capitals interested in these projects. Both managers (now shareholders) are prepared for any financial movement : listing on stock exchange, sell shares, full exit with NCH. The main idea is the companies are very strong and changing of management is a normal movement for 2008. The projects grew, with a lot of work (congratulations Vlad and Rachad for the effort), and the market changed. New blood is required and the web is making people tired (they say 1 year in digital is the same with 7 years in other work). Even for my company i am planning a change of management in 2 years.
Conclusion : the Internet Romanian market is changing from the roots. Will be a strong battle for any % since now and the RID* will be a death match.
